Judith Hebert

Judith Pittman Hebert, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 in Brazoria, Texas in their home on the San Bernard River. Judy was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 30, 1941. She was born to William Thomas Pittman and Gertrude Garza Pittman.

She was one of 6 children. Her siblings were June Sutherland, William Pittman, Wayne Pittman, Audrey Leroux and Gail Lewis. Judy graduated from Holy Name of Mary High School in New Orleans and attended 2 years of college at St. Mary's Dominican College before becoming a flight attendant.

After moving to Houston, she became a realtor in which she earned several top producer awards in the leasing industry for the city of Houston. She continued in real estate for 45 years.

Judy's passions revolved around cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. Time spent with her family, especially her grandkids, were priceless to her. She loved to travel and loved all games including crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Judy was an amazing athlete and excelled at most any sport that she dared to try. She was a faithful member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and was a proud member of the Red Bean Cooking Team for their annual church bizarre. People gravitated to her for her wicked sense of humor, kindness and adventurous spirit.

Judy married her childhood best friend, Bob Hebert, on December 1, 1962. They lived a wonderful life together full of love and laughter.

She is survived by her husband Bob and her children David Hebert, Jon Hebert and Loren Byrnes and their spouses Shannah Hebert, Judy Hebert and Paul Byrnes. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mitchell and Avery Byrnes and many nieces and nephews.

In remembrance of Judy, her family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. John Vianney Church where she worshiped for over 50 years.

The family cordially invites guests to join them at a reception at Paul and Loren Byrnes home following the memorial service.
