Juan A. Flores

Juan graduated from Alice High School. He was married to Virginia T. Flores on October 12, 1963. Juan had a career in the steel industry with Inland Steel and Cameron Iron Works. He was a long-time parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Church and had a passion for gardening and music.

Juan is survived by; children Norma Flores, Armando Flores, and Steven Flores and his wife Andrea, brothers Jose Flores and his wife Mela, Guadalupe Flores and Luis Flores; grandchildren David Flores, Jessica Flores, Blake Flores, Robin Flores and Kate Flores and great-grandchildren Ethan Ramey, Alexander Flores and Delaney Price.

Juan was preceded in death by his wife Virignia T. Flores; sister Fidela Godines and her husband Jesus, brother Amadeo Flores and his wife Angelita, sister-in-laws Elva and Rosa Flores and brother Rudy Flores; parents Silvestre and Trinidad Flores.

A visitation for Juan will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 10500 Nold Drive, Houston, TX 77016 with a committal service to follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Steven Flores, David Flores, Enrique Pina, Guadalupe Flores, Geoff Price and Rene Martinez.
