Joyce W. Wills, born on June 5, 1922 in York, England and passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2013. She will always be remembered by her witty sense of humor and her generosity. She was an avid sports fan, always watching and cheering on her Houston teams. Joyce also enjoyed her nightly routine of playing along with Wheel of Fortune, eating English chocolate or having a bowl of her favorite ice cream. She served in the Royal Air Force and when she became a United States citizen it was one of the proudest moments in her life. Joyce was also a long time member of Memorial Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Nellie Welby; husband, William Wills; brothers, Roy and Anthony and daughter, Linda Gluek. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Reeve; granddaughter, Laurie Braun and husband Terrill; great grandsons; Cory and Tyler Braun; brother, Donald and numerous nieces and nephews in England. There will be a visitation held at Forest Park Westheimer on Monday, Sept. 23rd from 5 to 7 pm. Private interment.
