Joseph Arthur Seiter

Joseph Arthur Seiter, of Galena Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2016, in Pasadena, TX. Joe was born on April 7, 1932 in Houston, TX to Clifford Theodore Seiter II and Catherine Mita Seiter.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jane L. Seiter, his son, Gary Lee Seiter; brothers Donald Ray, Carl and David Seiter.

Joe is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Jeff Nelson; grandchildren, Angela and Timothy Nelson, brother's Clifford (Ted) Seiter III, Billy Seiter and wife Dean Seiter, Jimmy Seiter and wife Nelda, and sisters Anna Smith, Janie Harp and her husband Ruben, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Joe is a retired machinist and worked for the Anheuser Busch Co. for 30 years. After the passing of his devoted wife of 49 years of marriage, Joe lived in a trusting relationship with his Lord and Savior. He focused on being part of the activities in the lives of his precious grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with a host of family, friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at First Baptist of Galena Park, 206 Woolfe St., Galena Park, TX 77547.

Burial following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
