Jose Humberto Perez went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born in Morelos, Coahuila, Mexico on February 2, 1950 and married the love of his life, Maria del Rosario Juarez de Perez on February 6, 1971.
Jose loved fishing, gardening, baking and helping those in need. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather,son, son-in-law, brother, cousin, uncle and friend who was loved by all who knew him. He loved making his family and friends laugh with his irreverent humor.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maria Perez; his children: Roberto Perez and Cristina Perez Gamez and their spouses Olga Benavides and Ronnie Gamez, respectively; and his grandchildren: Reece X. Gamez, Roberto I. Perez, Julian M. Gamez, Marisa N. Perez, Bella Aguilar and Vivien Aguilar. He is also survived by his brothers, Andres M. Perez, Eleazar M. Perez and Jesus M. Perez as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will occur for Jose at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039 on Sunday, July 17th from 10:00 - noon with a rosary starting at 10:30 and the burial immediately following at Brookside Memorial Park.
Servings as pallbearers are Andres M. Perez, Eleazar M. Perez, Jesus M. Perez, Roberto I. Perez, Reece X. Gamez, and Julian M. Gamez.
