Jose C. Llamas, 56, of Katy, TX passed unexpectedly but surrounded by family on September 9, 2021. His loss was sudden and has left all of his family shocked and deeply saddened. He will be truly missed in so many ways.
Jose was born on July 23, 1965 to parents, Carmelo and Guadalupe Llamas in Mexico City, Mexico. He was raised in Higueras, Nuevo Leon where he later met his wife, Irma (51) with whom he had 2 exemplary children, Ricardo (33) and Alexandro Llamas (30).
Jose was a dedicated husband to his beloved wife and a strong, kind, caring, loving, and supportive father. Jose was one of 8 brothers and sisters all of whom he was very proud of. Jose will also be survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandnieces, and grandnephews- all of which he loved endlessly.
Jose’s family was the center beam of his life. He was always giving. He was always just a phone call away when anybody needed him. He always went above and beyond to make sure his family had everything they needed. If there was ever anything he couldn’t provide, he would always find another way.
Jose was the pillar of his family, he loved having everyone gathered together. Most of our favorite memories include him in front of a barbeque pit, cooking up endless amounts of food for everyone to eat. At times when the family could not gather, he still made the time and effort to deliver delicious homemade Menudo, like only he knew how to make.
Jose spent over 25 years in the floral industry, which he loved. Throughout that time, he traveled many places where he made many friends and became a mentor and source of knowledge for many. People that knew him, describe him as a very friendly person that always had a smile on his face. He was an example to many, always leading with his positivity.
Jose will be greatly missed not only by family, but also by many friends. Though his time on Earth was short, we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with him. We will forever cherish the memories and love that he gave us.
Jose’s legacy will be carried on through the life of his two sons’.
