John C. McGuire, born December 23, 1924 passed away May 20, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jackie McGuire. John will be greatly missed by his daughter, Gale Hogan; son, John McGuire Jr. and wife Debbie; granddaughters, Amanda McGuire, Samantha Kinsey and husband David; great granddaughter, Taylor Kinsey and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a very loyal husband, father and grandfather. He was employed with Southern Pacific Railroad for 42 years until his retirement. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Brookside Funeral Home. Graveside Service will begin at 10:30 am Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Brookside Memorial Park.
