John Hayes, born March 2, 1939, passed away on March 5, 2013. As a man of faith, John loved his family, reading, cooking, and adding his beautiful tenor voice to various church choirs and choral groups. He was a 1957 graduate of Milby High School, and a proud graduate of the University of Texas. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his kind, gentle soul. He is survived by his sister, Doris McKay, his nieces and their husbands, Susan and Ray Swindle and Jeanine and Kenny Evans, his grand-nieces Nicole Klobas, Courtney Acosta, and Kristin Fennymore, and their husbands, and his great-grand nieces and nephews: Jessica, Karli, Kai, and Mac. On Monday, March 10, a visitation will be at 11:00 a.m., preceding the funeral at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home.
