John "Johnnie" Helen French, age 91, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Friday July 13, 2018. Johnnie was born April 1, 1927 to Dixie Butler and John David Benton in Coke, Texas.

Johnnie is survived by; son David French; and daughter Sandra French Chumley; grandchildren Michael Chumley, Jordan French, and Breadon French and great-grandchildren Corey, Kenley, and Kameron.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband Valdon Guy French; mother Dixie Butler and father John David Benton; siblings Tom, Manerva, Ray, Paulina, Peggy, Nancy.

A visitation for Helen will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Committal and burial service will follow the funeral service immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
