John Carroll Davis was born on April 2, 1955 in Houston, Texas and went home to be with the lord on January 29, 2024 in Houston, Texas at the age of 68. John joined his loving wife of 23 years Leasha in heaven.
John is survived by his sons Stuart Sebren and wife Heidi and Sonny Gardner. He is also survived by his only sister Susette Burns and husband Bill. John is survived by a granddaughter Mackenzie Sebren and his nieces, nephews and other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Emma Davis, his first wife Sharon Davis, and his brothers, Wayne Rhoden and Stewart Davis. John is also preceded in death by his niece Erin Taylor and great-niece Raelynn Taylor.
John graduated from Aldine High School in 1974 and was proud to play and be a part of the mighty Mustang football team. John served our country in the US Army and then wet on worked for the Houston Coca-Cola company for over 20 years and retired and then went to work for Sparkletts water. John had a strong ethic. He loved watching Nascar, he enjoyed watching sports and loved country and western music.
John was strong willed and had a strong opinion about things. He was a debater and you would get an answer if you ever asked a question. John, like his wife Leasha, had a love for animals and also loved his family dearly.
He was witty and was the life of the party. He told his family that when he died that he wanted it to be a celebration and party. John touched many lives and will greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
