Mr. Connell was a wonderful inspiration.  My prayers go out to all of his family.  Just remember that Jesus walks with us no matter what we are going through.  God Bless all of you.

Bro. Bob was a real inspiration to all of us, he loved young people so much. I think its because he stayed a "young person" in his heart for 89 yrs.I knew Bob from w. 34th street (brook hollow) Church of Christ since I was 5 yrs old. He was always loving and kind. I loved the way he always gave everyone  a welcome kiss when he saw you. More people should do that. I imagine Bob will be leading the youth in paradise untill our precious Savior comes again. To Bobs' wonderful family I love you, and will always keep you in my prayers.

Susanne, I am very sorry for your loss.  I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.  You are an angel, Susanne, for taking care of your Dad all these years.  My sincere condolences to the entire family. I hope you find some comfort that your parents are now together smiling down upon you.

I will miss Bob dearly. I have known him my entire life thru Brookhollow Church of Christ. My prayers go out to the family.  What a Great Man. I know he is in heaven looking down on all of us.

Bro. Bob Loved his Lord, his family & his Christian family @ Brookhollow for so many years. He & Mildred meant so much to me during my high school years & college @ SHSU. They were so special to me & Darrell that we actually went to their house right after our wedding in 1973. I will hold special memories of him in my heart forever. God bless you Bro. Bob! You have reached your final destination & have been reunited with your sweet Mil once again! We will miss you! My heart goes out to all of Mr. John Robert Connell's family, especially my Uncle John and my cousins.  I knew him as Grandpa Connell and he was always a joy and pleasure to be around. Brother Bob was the heart and soul of W.34th Church of Christ. He was a strong believer of Love and unity between each other. He taught the youth group that we should always believe in Christ and always look forward in life. He impacted so many and for that we know where he is at. We never met Mr. Connell, but we know Sandy Aitken really well.  Our prayers are with the entire family as they gather in Houston for the service.  May the God of all comfort be with them during this time.
