John W. Bailey, 74, passed away on October 10, 2010. He was born in Port Arthur, TX on December 6, 1935 to Joe R. and Cecillia Jones Bailey. John retired from the banking industry after over 35 years of service. After retirement, he was a business mentor with “The Silver Fox Advisors”. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Bailey, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bailey; aunt and uncle, Larue and Peter Skarbovig; and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating John’s life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 in the Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home – Champions with Rev. Marc Bierma officiating.
