Joe Munoz

Joe Munoz Jr., age 71, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, April 21, 2023, surrounded by loved ones after a long health battle. He was born in Houston, Texas, on June 19, 1951, to Jose “Chema” Munoz and Maria “Mary” Munoz.

Joe worked various jobs in the sheet metal and roofing industries. He was a kind and generous man who would give you his last dollar, if he thought you might need it. He dearly loved his grandson, great-granddaughter, and never passed up a good Cheeseburger & Coke or Jelly Beans.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Erica Gamblin, and her husband Paul Gamblin; grandson Brendan Munoz and great-granddaughter Camila Munoz; his four sisters, Estella and husband Bill Harbin; Rachel and husband John Silva; Janie and husband Louis Morales; and Martha and husband Armando Morales.

There will be no services. Instead, the family asks that you please perform a Random Act of Kindness for someone in Joe’s honor.
