JoAnn Lentz

Jo Ann was born on January 7, 1937 in Houston, Texas and was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mr. & Mrs. John Allen Blackman, Sr., brother, John Allen Blackman Jr., and son, Robert Adair Smith, Jr.

Jo Ann is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Larry James Lentz. Much loved mother of Michael Smith (Patti), Charlotte Balch (Carl), Jennifer Basham (David) and Audrey Bigelow. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo Ann was a Devout Episcopalian, involving herself in the church her entire life. She loved cooking for family and is known for her Cajun roots style cooking. It was one of her many talents. She was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
