Jo Ann Lambright born 1935 in Houston, Texas passed away Oct. 6, 2018 in Porter, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Brenda Thompson and son, Clifton Lambright. She has one daughter living, Patricia Ann Yager who lives in the Woodlands with her husband Gary Yager.
Her parents were Harold and Loraine Everton. She was preceded in death by her siblings & their spouses; Dorothy Lowery & Charles; Melvin Everton; and Alton Everton & Reba. She has one sister living, Peggy Everton who lives in Humble, Texas. She has many nieces and nephews that she cherished.
She is survived by her granddaughters & their husbands; Rebecca Rosser & Ric; Angelia Sheppard & Glen; and Robbie Durham & Chip.
She was blessed with her great and great great grandchildren; Dalton Rosser and his wife Christa with Livy and Liam; Patricia Sheppard and fiancé Damas Warren with Angie; Drake Rosser; Glen Ray Sheppard II; Kaitlyn Durham; and Maggie Durham.
A member of Gospel Assembly since 1946 when Bro. Clyde Patton started the church in Houmont Park; in 1947 she was first to be baptized in the San Jacinto River. She was faithful and loved the church and all God’s people.
Her family and church were her life. She was always happy and made the most of her life; raising her children whom she adored; and went through school and graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S.Degree. She loved her friends and family –especially her church family.
