Jimmy Clifford Sims

He was born in Malvern, Arkansas on August 15,1943.

Jimmy graduated from Jeff Davis High School, where he was a member of the ROTC.

He was married to Sandra Burke on June 29,1963.

Jimmy had a career in Air Conditioning & Heating for Jordan & Webb and Banner Air.

He was a member of Champion Forest Baptist Church. He had a passion for hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by parents Clifford and Martha Sims. Son Daryl Sims. Brother Dewey Kenneth Sims, and sister Roe Ann Waits.

Jimmy was survived by wife Sandra Sims. Son Jason Sims. Brothers Frank Sims and wife Shirley of Bedias, Texas, Joe Sims of Pittsburgh, Texas. Sister Shirley Mendonca and husband Dave of Modesto, California and sisters-in-law Carolyn Sims of Bedias, Texas and Connie Howard of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by numerous special nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jimmy will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A service will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal will occur Monday, September 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
