Jim Njotsa

Jim Njosta, 68 years old, passed away on 12/19/2024 at his residence in Houston, TX. He was the husband of Julie Egenti. They shared 8 years of marriage together.

Jim was born in Tiko, Republic of Cameroon, he was the son of James and Theresa NJOTSA. He attended St. Joseph’s School Tiko Town from 1964-1970 and then proceeded to Comprehensive College Limbe Secondary and High School from 1970-1976 where he graduated.

He was employed at ONIBODO TRADING CEMENT COMPANY LTD PORT HARCOURT in Nigeria from 1977 to 1980 and then left for the United States in 1981 and worked as a researcher for several computer software corporations in Chicago, Washington, D.C & Maryland. He then moved to Houston where he briefly worked in the Oil & Gas industry as an energy broker and finally before his death, he worked as a researcher for a local hospital in Houston.

He is survived by his wife, Julie.

The funeral service & graveside service will be held on 01/24/2025 at 8:00 am at Garden Oaks Funeral Home, 13430 Bellaire Blvd Houston, TX 77083 with interment at the Paradise Cemetery South, 2237 Cullen Blvd, I Pearland, TX 7758. The viewing/ visitation will be held from Thursday evening 4:30pm - 8:30pm to the time of the service.
