Jesse Mack Tanner, 65, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born on August 21, 1947 to Mack and Eula Tanner in Houston, Texas. Jesse began racing in 1965. He was founder of T&T Motors in 1973 and in 1978 he extended his business with a wrecker service. He was vice president of YRA from 1985-1993. In 1994 Jesse accepted Christ and was baptized in August of 1994. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend whom will be missed dearly. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn; sons, David and wife Carman and James and wife Courtney; grandchildren; L.D., Elyse, and Rhett; brothers, Charles and wife Beverly and Harvey Tanner. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 5pm to 8pm at Brookside Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11am in the Grand Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Park. Rev. Shannon Tanner officiating.
