Jesse Martinez

He is proceeded in death by parents, Alvino and Concha Martinez, brothers Joe, Conrado "Coney", Henry, sisters Encarnation "Chona" Rodriguez, Emilia Gomez, Andrea Cortez and Salome Cortez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Esther Martinez. Son Jesse Martinez, Jr.(Hawaii), daughter Darlene E. Gonzalez and husband Victor. Grandchildren Ashley Gebhardt and Juno (Destinee) Espinosa, step grandchildren Victor Gonzalez Jr. and Savannah Gonzalez, Including numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army, he enlisted at the age of 18 years old, he served during the WWII 1944 - 1946 as a heavy Mortar Crewman.

He retired from Ben Taub Hospital after 26 years as an Engineer.

A visitation for Jesse will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 Broadway St. Houston, TX 77087. A Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo - Broadway, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77087. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 12:00 p.m to 12:30 p.m at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
