Jerry Pernell Segel

Jerry Pernell Segel, age 82, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was born February 8, 1941 in Houston, Texas to George Franklin and Emma Agnes (Rabel) Segel. He enjoyed tinkering around with cars, going camping with his family and boating. He loved taking care of his yard and just being with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Burr and husband, Tim; grandsons, Tim Burr, III and wife, Lara; Nick Burr and wife, Kaitlyn and Eric Burr; brother, Randy Segel and wife, Jeanny; nephews, Chris Segel and Brian Segel and wife, Mary along with other extended family and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Segel, and his brother, Franklin Segel.

A visitation for Jerry will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A holy rosary will be recited Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 4136 Broadway, Houston, texas 77087. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, TX 77581. A committal service will follow Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
