We are gathered here today in memory of Javier “Javi” Moreno Jr., so that together we may acknowledge and share both our joy in the gift that his life was to us, and the pain that his passing brings. In sharing the joy and the pain together today, may we lessen the pain and remember more clearly the joy.
Javier was 30 years old when he went to paradise on Thursday, May 26, 2016. He was born on May 30, 1985 here in Houston, TX. He was the second child and the only son born to Javier Sr. & Estela Moreno.
Javier was loved by many, from early on. Friendship came easy to Javier; he was loving, caring, and one of the least judgmental souls ever!!! He would treat a stranger like a friend and a friend like family. Many looked up to Javier, his style, his personality, his sense of humor, and enjoyed his lively story telling. He developed the love of cutting hair a little late in life. Everyone loved getting their fades from him; he made so many friends and his cliental grew over time and he was able to achieve the goal of owning his own barber shop.
Javier is survived by his parents: Javier and Estela, his sisters: Adriana, Liliana, and Denise. His 3 children: Natalia, JJ, Xavier. His love: Yvette Sauceda. His Grandmother: Angelina. His nieces and nephews: Victoria, Adrian, and Gabriel. His “brothers”: George, Hugo, Angel, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
