Jan Franklin Buntyn left this life to be with his Lord on September 27, 2024. Jan was born on June 7, 1948, in Houston, TX.
He was the youngest child of four born to Joe Stanley and Alma Louise Buntyn. Jan Graduated from Austin High Scholl in 1966 and attended the University of Houston from 1966 to 1971 achieving degree in Electrical Engineering. Jan worked for NASA for 29 years and lived in the Clear Lake Area. After retirement, He moved to Montgomery, Texas for the remainder of his years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joe S. and Sally Buntyn Jr. and sister Nola Suarez. He is survived by his: Sister Rachel Curington and husband Bruce Curington, brother-in-law Tommy Suarez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services: A visitation for Jan will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
