James David Woodward, Sr. was born January 4, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed into eternal rest on September 22, 2016. James married Ann Derevjanik in 1945. During World War II he served as a Merchant Marine. He worked at Texas Commerce Bank, downtown Houston and First City National Bank at Gulfgate. James was the owner of Je A Marine - Houston since the1950's and was an active member of Boating and Trades of Houston. He loved boating, fishing, hunting and going to the country.
Left to cherish his memories are his children James Woodward, Jr. and Annette Woodward. Services will be at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28 from 6:00pm to 8pm and the funeral will be Thursday, September 29 at 10:00am in the Family Chapel, with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
