James Wayne Wisniewski III

James was born October 16, 2005, to Lakitia and James Wisniewski, II in Austin, Texas.

James moved to Katy at an early age where he grew to love the area. James was a student at Rains Academy. He could often be seen riding his BMX bike or motorcycle with friends on the bayou trails of Katy and west Houston.

James loved motorcycling, BMX biking and gaming, especially with friends. He was always happy, had a huge heartwarming smile on his face and a hug for anyone that needed it. He was born with an adventurous spirit and a great love of people and animals of all kinds but especially his dogs, Nyla and Bubbas. He documented many of his adventures on his own popular YouTube channel, known by his followers as jay2speedy. Although unknown to most, James was also a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.

His smile lit up his entire face and filled the hearts of everyone he met with joy. He had tons of friends from all walks of life – to know him was to love him and his carefree spirit. He never met a stranger, and he always saw the best in people and his heart was open to everyone and every dog he ever met. James could write a book on how to make someone feel loved, special, or included. He covered all the bases when it came to love. He told you he loved you and we all knew he meant it. He was a world class hugger, and he complimented freely.

James listened with an empathetic ear, hearing the things we might not say aloud but knowing exactly how we felt. He remembered what you said down to the smallest obscure detail. He loved surprising his parents, grandparents, and others with good gifts he knew would be felt in the depths of their hearts. He showed interest in others knowing what they liked and what they cared about. If someone had a goal or a dream, he was their biggest supporter and their hype man. He loved a celebration for others and for himself. James was mechanically gifted, repairing bicycles at an early age and later taking apart and fixing ATV’s and motorcycles. If he could ride it, he could fix it. James planned to use skills honed in his garage to be a professional mechanic or build on his school certifications in lifesaving to be a paramedic – both fields involved fixing things and he was great at both! He was one of the most grateful and appreciative humans God ever created.

James loved to read his bible, he prayed alone and with his friends often sharing scripture. Making others happy and helping them find direction or peace fed his soul. James was genetically predisposed to pranking and jokes --- those closest to him were on the receiving end of these and boy did he deliver! James felt like sunshine --- he warmed our hearts, touched our souls, and will be missed until we see him again in heaven.

But now these three remain ---

faith, hope, and love.

And the greatest of these is love.

James was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jane Wisniewski and his uncle, Sherman Griffin. James is survived by his loving parents, Lakitia and James, his sister, Alaya Griffin, his grandparents Sandra and Craig Griffin of Plum, Kristie and Wayne Wisniewski of College Station, Great-grandmother Freddie Griffin of Plum, Dale Jackson (Suzanne) of Fort Worth, uncle Clint Wisniewski (Jenn) of Forney, cousins McKenna, Nolan and Harper Wisniewski and Andrea Griffin as well as extended family and friends. James loved his dogs Nyla and Bubbas (formerly known as Chili) who also loved him dearly.
