They say, "People come and people go."
However, some are so special you will forever know.
Daddy was one of those few, you see.
His gentle soul touched everyone, you and me.
Adjectives abound from those he knew:
"Gentle, funny, and sweet" to name a few.
Additionally words such as "good" and "kind"
In reference to Dad are coming to people's minds.
"Always smiling, lovely human being, proud to call him my friend"
Ring in again and again.
"An engineer's engineer"
"Someone who is so dear".
But I know him as Daddy,
He who will always be,
A source of encouragement and love
Here on earth and now up in Heaven above.
