James Murphy ill never forget riding in the Jag as a young boy going to your job and helping me with my 5th grade science project  “The Human Skeleton!” I placed in the fair and that gave me the confidence to keep competing. That Jag also had the first car phone i had ever seen, didn’t even know how to hang it up! Great times man. May you rest in peace eternally.

I met Mr. James Benjamin Murphy in 1977 on my birthday.  We remained friends through the years.  Everything that I've read about him is absolutely true.  He was a wonderful man inward as well as outward.  He will be sorely missed!  Rest in heaven Murf!

Murphy, Murphy...it was nice meeting and working with you - always a very dedicated person in whatever you were doing, always proud of your family.  You will be missed and we will always remember of your smile!

I enjoyed working with James at CB&I.  He had a very pleasant character with a fine reputation as a dedicated civil/structural designer and his work was always with high quality.  He earned the respect from all his co-workers. James will be missed.

I have known James for 25 years since working with him at ABB Lummus-Crest. He was always very positive and always had a smile. We shared a few laughs as we worked and told a few stories to each other. He will be missed very much.

I've known James through work at ABB and CBI for about 20 years. He was very kind and one of the nicest people that I've had the pleasure of working with. Ever upbeat and positive, I truly cannot recall him ever speaking negatively. It seemed he always made a point to compliment people. James put a smile on my face EVERY SINGLE TIME I ran into him and I always enjoyed seeing him. He was a really a GREAT guy who will most certainly be missed.

I'm sad to hear about James passing. He's one of the most beautiful persons I have ever worked with. Hard worker, always a gentleman, cheerful, positive, neat.. a good God man. We'll miss him. My deepest condolences to his dear wife and kids. Of whom he was always talking about proudly.

I know James (Murph) from my years with ABB Lummus and he always was a gentleman's gentleman.  He showed respect to God, family and country at all times.  I know he has been called home to his Father's house and he will be missed by all.  My prayers are with his family and friends.

Like so many of you I met Mr. James Murphy in the late 70's working for Lawerance-Allison. James was an outgoing friendly guy that I came to respect and enjoy his company.We both loved our cars and Families. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I worked with Murphy many years ago and was saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a polite and caring individual and never met a stranger. He would strike up a conversation with everyone he came in contact with and treated them like a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed!

Knowing Murphy and being in his presence was truly a pleasure.  I met Murphy while working with him at ABB Lummus Global and liked him immediately.  Such a kind spirited man who loved his family.  I pray that God will continue to provide all that is needed by the Murphy family now and forever more.

before computers. I was in the Piping Dept. and he was in the Structural Dept.,I remember his smile and what he said about his son (That's my boy!! Dress up western style) God don't make mistakes!! He called him home!! You have my condolences, God Bless You all.

To the family of James my condolences, may God bless you all. James and I worked togather for a long time and we were good friends. James was a good man. Iam proud to say James Murphy was my friend.

My condolences to the family.  James was always a inspiration, kind, funny and giving. He was a great blessing in my life both as a friend and co-worker.

It's been awhile since I worked with Murphy but I think of his great smile always happy and such a gentlemen and kind hearted never saw him unhappy.  The guy had a million dollar smile he was dressed to kill everyday and was so neat and clean you could of eaten off of him.  He spoke of his family alot and you knew that he was a happy man inside and out and we can't forget he had the nicest set of wheels in the parking lot....but he was a man of integrity and truly will be missed by so many people.  I am sad that I didn't know of his illness I would of like to have given back what he gave to all of us....But Murphy is rejoicing and smiling and the beauty of it is that his loved ones will see him again in a setting far better than we can ever imagine here on earth....

To the family you have our greatest condolences. The time and memories we shared will never be forgotten. He will always be remembered. He was my brother, my friend, and I will truly miss him.

It was indeed an honor and pleasure to have known James.  I am so glad that our paths crossed.  He was always respectful, kind-hearted and nice.  He was a good friend that I will truly miss.

I have worked with Murphy in the engineering business and I highly  respected his work ethic.  He was a very knowledgable man in our structural department.  He was well liked by everyone that worked with him.  I know he loved his family because he always told us what was going on at home with the kids.  I will miss him.

I worked with James and he was indeed a very nice person and great to work with. The only problem is that I didn't get to know him better.....my wish for peace and comfort for the family.

At work, everyone called him "Murphy" yet he addressed everyone with a Mr., Miss., or Mrs. He was a very cordial man. Rest in peace my friend, Mr. James Murphy.

James was a wonderful man that I had the honor of working with and being friends with at Lummus in ths old days. He was alway such a kind and wonderful man. He loved his son so much and talked about him all the time. I will miss his smile and kind heart. God Bless his faimly.
