Well it has been a while now but seems like yesterday i am finding it hard to grasp still and wake up some mornings still wishing that it was a bad dream but its real you are missed so very much and i think of you every minute of the day sure would love to hug you and tell you that i love you r.i.p. pops love you so much

Jimmy, I still find it so hard to believe that you are not here. 
Your life and your death taught me a lot.. I learned some things about regret, and wish I had done more to be present for you. I am grateful for the times when I was present and engaged in conversation. You had such a lovely sparkle in your eye, and your humor was always there. I hope you know that since I was a little girl you were special to me. Life gets in the way of always showing what we mean to. I hope to always show everyone I love just what they mean to me.
I hope you are happy, and with Jamie. I hope you knew, at the end, just how very loved you were.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, it has been a few weeks now and still doesn't seem real. You are thought about and talked about constantly. It is like you are hear except we don't hear you or your laugh. In the past couple of weeks I have learned just how many people's hearts you have touched over the course of your life and oh my goodness,  the stories, wonderful stories. I wish we had many many more years but will cherish the years I did have you in my life. You are an amazing man and am so proud to be able to say that Jimmy Kendrick is my father-in-law.  Keep us in line down here until we all are together again. I love and miss you deeply.

I'm missing you more and more everyday, remembering things we have done together and all the fun and laughter we had.We bumped heads sometimes wish we still could, but we also had a lot of great times. I could not of asked for a better dad. Will never forget you love you with all my heart

I am so very sad that I never got to meet this wonderful man. Thank you jimmy for being such a role model to my soon to be husband and for having such an impact on his life that he can now pass down to our son. You will be missed and never forgotten... I once read that when someone dies, it is like a ship passing in the night...on the shore are all your loved ones crying, waving goodbye, wishing you were still here. But as the ship passes away, it reaches another shore where everyone is smiling and welcoming you home! Glad you are home now, Jimmy! I love you!

Uncle Jimmy...you were always funny and nice to me, and I miss you and Jamie.

Sending prayers to the entire Kendrick family from the Johnson family. Although we lost touch with Jimmy many years ago, he was never far from my thoughts. We shared the same birthday which made that day even more special. I have many great memories spent with him but the one thing that really sticks out at this moment is at Easter time when he used to let me crack eggs on his bald head. I don't know if he had more fun or I did. I always hoped to run into him again one day to make up for lost time. But sadly that never happened. I was truly blessed to have him in my life, even for a short while. I hope to see him again someday.

Just thinking about your smile and the twinkle in your eye makes my heart smile.  I was so looking forward to you being able to ride that scooter and be at the reunion this year. Jimmy I only had you as my brother-in-law for over 11 months, I always enjoyed seeing you when I went to visit with Ted. Just want you to know that you were loved by so many people. I am glad that you are not suffering anymore for your every breath. I am also glad that you are with your loved ones that went to heaven before you. You can now rest in peace Jimmy. I love ya & we will all see you again when it is our time to go.

I can remember Jimmy very well. We used to wrestle all the time and run up and down Palmyra. We actually became "blood" brothers. Very fond memories of all the Kendrick family.Heartfelt condolences to the Kendrick family.

This is one of the greatest losses to our family since memaw passed. Rest easy now Uncle Jimmy, you are among loved ones and will forever reside in our hearts.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Thank you Jimmy for all I have learned from you. I will miss you, until we see each other again.

BEST darn God father a kid could ask for . Nobody picks on a bikers son! I will never forget u uncle jimmy I'll make sure I take Liam for a ride on the gas tank like you did with me. Always missed and never forgot

Words can not say how much we will miss you.! There is so much I wish I could ask u .. My last memory was that bike ride the guys took me on with u , all those years growing up. NOBODY picked on me cause my Godfather is a biker. And it was the best feeling in the world riding finally being able to buy u a beer on that bike ride! I know heaven is priviliged to have u there. I love u uncle jimmy and thanks for bringing me closer to my family. U are the best darn God father a man could ever ask for

My prayers for the Kendrick family. Jimmy was so loved and will be missed by all that knew him. As a child he was full of mischief and laughter…I know that he carried a burden here on earth and I am so happy that he is at peace and with those he loved. I am just devastated over the death Jimmy. I only got to spend just a little while with him a few months ago and it was one amazing visit. He was a dear sweet and funny man I found in that little time I was with him. I had not seen him since I was a little girl. How I miss out on so much not knowing or visiting him over the years. God Bless you Jimmy I love you to Heaven and back.
