James was in the United States Navy from 1993 until 1997. He went on to work for Texas Pipe Supply Company and finally for Murphy Enovation Controls.
He had many passions in life, motorcycles, in which he was a part of the social organization Los Hermanos MC, cars, and doing mechanical work. James was also a foodie; he loved to drink wine and coffee. He enjoyed watching movies; some of his favorites were the DC and Marvel series, Deadpool, and Star Wars. James liked carpentry, to travel, and was a comedian who loved to make others laugh and had a contagious laugh himself.
He is preceded in death, and now reunited with his daughter Victoria.
James is survived by his wife Liliana; sons and daughters, James, Chelsea, Julissa, Ellenie, and Justin; and granddaughter Raamiah.
