Iva Nell Roberts, loving mother and grandmother was born and raised in Madison County, loved to go to the cabin, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Ora Wilson; brother: Waylon Wilson; sister: Jacqueline Pearson; and loving husband of 27 years, Lawrence Newt Roberts. Left to cherish her memories are children: Gwen McDaniel and husband Leroy, Robert M. Ellitot and wife Cindy, Quince M. Elliott, and Nelda Lawson and husband Jay, 16 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5p.m. to 8p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Brookside Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014, with interment following at Brookside Memorial Park.
