Isaac attended elementary and middle school at Sinai Apostolic Academy where he made many life-long friends. During his time there he earned numerous academic awards and played on the Sinai Lions basketball team. Isaac attended Spring Woods Senior High School, where he was introduced to his new passion, computers.
After high school, Isaac had endless dreams. He attended Houston Community College, and later the University of Houston. Isaac soon became known for going to parties and events dressed as a zombie…scaring friends, family and the public alike. Isaac always enjoyed a good laugh. It is perhaps one of the things he’s best known for. His belly laugh inspired those around him to join him. Isaac’s kind heart showed most when he was volunteering. While he always stated he didn’t like people, he never refused to help those in need.
Although he grew up in a religious household, Isaac was never a religious person. He had been baptized in the name of Jesus on March 16, 1996. While he knew and believed in God, he didn’t believe religion was for him. In 2016, Isaac experienced a miracle. After having experienced severe bacterial meningitis, Isaac survived. He not only survived, but had no long term physical damages. Doctors expected some type of brain damage or physical impact, he had none. This brought doctors to tears, and left no doubt in Isaac’s mind that God existed and that prayer worked.
Isaac soon found himself back at the church of his youth, El Siloe. When Isaac was first diagnosed with cancer, this church became his second family. They loved and prayed for him throughout his treatment. As his cancer grew, so did Isaac’s faith. While he often questioned why, he never doubted God’s love for him. Isaac was filled with the Holy Ghost in March 2019, at the Pentecostals of Katy. Even until his last day Isaac talked with his sister on how God was there with him, and that God would speak to him when it was time to go on to the next phase of his healing. While at the time, they both were talking physical healing, God was preparing him for a complete and perfect healing.
Isaac is no longer hurting. He is walking the streets of gold, along with those who left before him.
Isaac, we can’t wait to see you again! You are loved and missed!
