Irene Reyes went to be with her Lord on January 5, 2017. She was born on April 4, 1956 in Mexico to parents Juan Varela and Ignacia Salas. Irene was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jose Reyes; 4 children, Jose G. Reyes and wife Tracey, Juan J. Reyes and wife Iris, Laura Reyes and husband Francisco, Ricardo Reyes; stepson, Ramon Reyes and wife Sonia; 8 grandchildren, Julian Reyes, Samuel Reyes, Lucas Reyes, Ariana Reyes, Blanca Reyes, Lexi Reyes, Joslyn Reyes, Lyanna Garcia and a host of siblings, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM, and a funeral service Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 at 2131 St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Lauder Rd., Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 .
