Ida Lydia Nava of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born on November 12, 1935, in Ben Bolt, Texas. After her parents passed away, she came to Houston, Texas where she grew up with her grandmother.
She graduated from High School in 1953. In 1955, she married Gabriel Uresti Nava.
She worked as a bookkeeper for several companies throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Nava and her daughter Lisa Tobias.
She is survived by her children: Norma Martinez, Nora Nava, Lydia Nava and Raymond Nava.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Forest Park Cemetery 6900 Lawndale Ave. Houston, Texas 77023 on friday May 9, 2025, at 1:00pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:00pm.
Interment to follow at 2:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Ave. Houston, Texas 77023.
