Hrand Minas Minassian

After finishing school he worked for GSI Oil and Gas Inc. Years later in 1968 he was transferred to Beirut, Lebanon, where he met his wife, Zevart Kazandjian.

After some time in 1971 he and his wife moved to Milan, Italy where their first son Marc was born.

The family kept on moving. The next destination was Houston, Texas where they had their second son Carl. Houston became their home.

His wife and two sons were the most important people in his life. He never stopped caring for them.

He was a kind human being who had a strong sense of responsibility. Besides being a good father and husband he was also a good friend and a good neighbor.

Sadly January of this year he developed shingles on his forehead which devastated him. After being hospitalized he was transferred into a rehabilitation center. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic no visitors were allowed in the center. Ironically that is where he got the virus.

Hrand is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Nina Kret.
