Heriberto Cantu

Heriberto Cantu Cerda was born on March 3, 1963 to Inez Cerda and Reynaldo Cantu in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his family. He was married to his wife, Diana M. Cantu for 32 years. His children were his pride and joy. Not only was he an exemplar father, but he supported their goals and visions. He loved spending time with his grandchildren every weekend. He loved having people over for bbq's and loved to cook. He was the first to open up the dance floor and was the life of the party. He was a proud supporter of the Texas Lotto as he always bought tickets! He was a joyful person who loved being around people. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Heriberto Cantu was preceded in death by his mom, Inez Cerda† and his brother Edgar Cantu†. He is survived by his wife, Diana Cantu, children Michelle Cantu, Heriberto Cantu Jr., Ivan Cantu, and Diana G. Cantu, grandchildren Marissa A. Padilla, Alondra Cantu, and Elijah Cantu, brother Priest Reynaldo Cantu, sister Marlen Hernandez, and many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Heriberto Cantú Cerda nació el 3 de marzo de 1963 en San Fernando Tamaulipas México. Sus padres: Inez Cerda y Reynaldo Cantú. El fue un hombre muy trabajador y muy dedicado a su familia. Estubo casado con Diana M. Cantu por 32 años. Sus hijos fueron su mayor orgullo y fue un padre ejemplar. El Siempre los apoyo en sus metas y logros. A el le gustaba convivir con familia y amistades. Su pasatiempo favorito era cocinar y tambien era el primero en salir a bailar en las fiestas. Le gustó jugar Texas Lottery, siempre comprando boletos! El era una persona muy alegre y sociable. Sera extrañado por su familia y amistades por siempre en nuestros corazones.

Heriberto Cantu le sobrevive a su esposa Diana M. Cantu, Michelle Cantu, Heriberto Jr., Ivan Cantu, Diana G. Cantu, nietos Marissa A. Padilla, Alondra Cantu, y Elijah Cantu, hermano Padre Reynaldo Cantu, hermana Marlem Hernandez y numerosos cuñadas(os), y sobrinas(os).

A public visitation for Heriberto will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A celebration of life will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM. A committal service will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
