She spent her teen years in South Florida where she excelled at rollerblading, water sports, volleyball and most anything she decided to try. Her outgoing and larger than life personality resulted in friendships wherever she settled. When she moved to Texas in the early 90's she discovered her passion for horses and country life. She was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (3 committees in 20 years) and also a member of the Ladies of Texas Tradition (LOTT). She worked as a paralegal for Robin Harrison for over 19 years. In 2008, she met the love of her life, husband Michael Daley, and they settled into their beautiful property with their 4 legged children, Amigo and Bella, along with their four horses. She adored her husband and both of their families. Heather was an incredible friend to many as she was the first one there when someone needed support. She truly lived life to the fullest and her enthusiasm was contagious. She was fiercely loyal and loved by many. Heaven gained a beautiful soul and her earthly family and friends will forever miss this shining star with a heart as big as Texas who would do anything just to make you laugh.
Heather was predeceased by her mother, Geraldine MacFarlane, and her father, George Patrick MacFarlane (“Papa Smurf”). She is survived by her husband, Michael Daley, her brother Bruce MacFarlane (wife Kerri), brother Andrew MacFarlane, brother Edward Macfarlane (wife Kareen), sister Bonnie Combs (husband Glenn) and aunt Deb Searfoss (husband Tom). Heather also has 3 nieces, Alexa (Butterbean), Kayla and Megan as well as 2 nephews, Luke and Matthew. Heather loved her in laws and was very close to her mother-in-law, Helen Daley, father-in-law Michael Daley, and sister-in-law Nancy Daley.
