Guadalupe Barerra Reyna Jr.

Guadalupe B. Reyna Jr., age 62, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Guadalupe was born May 13, 1959. Lupe was born to Margaret and Lupe B. Reyna in Houston, Texas St. Joseph Hospital. Lupe was the only boy of four sister's he attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Church as well as Berry elementary school Where he was awarded the mayors award for an essay, Frances Scott Key middle school, St. Thomas High and University of St. Thomas. He worked many years for Texas Art Supple as well as City of Houston in the following departments, municipal courts, finance department and the police department accounting. Lupe was also a member of the following clubs, cub scouts, boy scouts and eagle scouts as well a member of the Knights of Columbus. A Columbian squire and a Knight of Columbus. His greatest job ever was 5 Star Event Services which he was a supervisor. He truly loved his time with the company and his coworkers. To Lupe 5 Star will forever be his second family. Lupe was a very carrying and giving individual he was always willing to help others no matter the situation. He was very determined and never backed down from a fight especially his biggest challenge Cancer. Lupe is proceeded in death by his mother and father as well as his sister's and niece and nephew. Lupe is survived by his sister's Yolanda Trevino husband (Armando), Mary Chavez husband (Jesse S Sr.) niece's Desiree, Samantha and nephew Jesse S II. As well Mary Frances Renteria, Louis Renteria and Gloria Jene Renteria, Elizabeth Ann Renteria, Eugenia Sliva and Kelly Berck. As well as numerous Great nieces and nephews and cousins and very dear friends. Lupe will be greatly missed by many and will remain in our hearts till we meet again.

A memorial service for Guadalupe will be held Monday, February 21, 2022, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm Service beginning 6:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
