Guadalupe Sanchez Perez

Guadalupe Perez Was born December 29,1944 in Edcouch, Texas to parents Saturnino and Remigia Sanchez. She grew up in Harlington, Texas and eventually moved to California with her parents and 5 siblings. While living in California, our beloved mom Guadalupe met the love of her life Alfred Lee Perez Sr. ,While he was in the military. In October of 1972 they got married and had 2 children, Lisa Marie Perez Elifrits and Alfred Lee Perez Jr. Lupe and Alfred had 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.If you knew Lupe , then you knew her family was her world and meant everything to her. She loved her son and she was really protective over him.

Lupe was a strong, hard, and strict women. You can even say mean at times. With that being said she was a lot harder on her daughter, Lisa expected and demanded more of her. In her older age, when she would get mad at her son she would yell and fight to go to Lisas .That's when Lisa was her favorite and her best friend. Lupe found more joy in cooking homemade meals for her family rather than going out to eat and spending money. She loved making tortillas, papas, and beans. As she got older she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/ Dementia which took away her ability to cook. However that didn't stop her from trying many times.

On thursday December 5,2024 God called her and reunited her with the love her life Alfred Sr.

Guadalupe is survived by her daughter Lisa Marie Perez Elifrits(William Rodney Elifrits); Son Alfred Lee Perez Jr. ( Rosy Hinojosa): Sister Mary Villegas; brothers Porfirio De La cruz, Ricardo Sanchez, grandchildren Jon Morales, Bianca Nicole Morales, Marisa Cordova, Kalah Marie Cordova, Jaquelyn Rose Perez, Madelyn Alyce Perez, Noah Lee Perez, Kaleb Ryan Perez, and Alyson Celia Mejia Perez: and great grandsons Josiah Ray George, Ernest Cano, and Kaiden Lee Cano.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her spouse Alfred Lee Perez Sr; both her parents Saturino and Remigia Sanchez; brothers John Oscar Sanchez and Fabian Sanchez.

Visitation for Guadalupe will be held Monday December 16,2024 from 10 am to 10 pm at

Funeral service will be tuesday, December 17,2024 at 11 am and then proceeding to the Houston National Cemetery.
