Gloria Lee Williams

Gloria Lee Williams was born on August 5, 1925 to the late Iley Sr. and Ethel Murray in Houston, Texas. She was the oldest of 5 children. She was the proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, Texas. Shortly after graduating, she married Lloyd Brown Sr. To this union was born 3 children. Patricia Ann, Lloyd Jr. & Larry Eugene (who preceded her in death). She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptisted at St. Luke M.B.C. under the leadership of the late F. L. Dickey. She was a faithful member for many years, working with the mission and Sunday school department under the leadership of Pastor Mark C. Davis until her health failed. She was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter & 2 brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Patricia Ann (Amos) & son; Lloyd Jr. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchlidren, 5 great great grandchildren, 2 beloved sisters: Jewel Williams & Esther Thomas, 1 daughter in law Betty Brown and play daughter; Lillie Swearington, 1 sister in law and a host of nieces and nephews
