Glenda’s favorite color was Pink with a combination of Gray and of course always a dash of sparkle. The femininity and loving nature of pink and the balanced and unbothered nature of gray with a dash of glam of sparkle was the true essence of Glenda. It was these very special essences that allowed her to gain an abundance of loving people around during her time.
Glenda Wells and Vincent Jones met during an outing with friends where they fell in love and eventually led to marry. In their union they birthed two children, her eldest Vincent Jones II and her youngest Ariel Jones. Glenda worked at Channel two in the shipping and receiving department which shortly after giving birth to her children she stopped working to stay home and take care of the children. She worked at Flex Ground in Houston, Tx and was personally named by one of her peers as being the Best Operational Manager at FedEx. She was a driving force for engagement and well known for treating her employees with much respect and kindness.
Glenda enjoyed being around family and friends making long lasting memories. She attended Forest Brook High School, Class of 81. She ran track and field during her time at Forest Brooke where she was especially known for her speed in the 800-meter event. She attended University of Houston in Central campus. She also went to Univerity of Phoenix to complete her bachelor’s and complete her MBA in Business Administration. During her time in school she was always known for being the person who was friend to everyone and made many long-lasting friendships.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Lillie Beatrice Wells and Van Wells, and her sister Samantha Wells.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter Ariel Steptoe, and son Vincent Jones II. Two brothers Titus Wells Sr. and Torrance Wells Sr. as well as her grand daughter Legacy B Jones and host of nieces, nephews and friends that loved her dearly.
