George Lawrence Hawkins Sr., 76, was born July 14, 1941 in Galveston, Texas and passed away October 15, 2017 in Conroe Texas. George was an amazing husband, father and grandfather who adored his family. He was an extremely loving and giving man who put others before himself always. George was also an excellent cook.
George is survived by his wife, Larraine Hawkins; sons, George Hawkins Jr. and Scott Hawkins with wife Cindy; daughter, Mary Hawkins; grandchildren, Amber MacDonald, Morgan and Madison Hawkins; sister, Patsy Fulton along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with burial to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
