Gary Joe Salinas, 54, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Gary served in the United States Navy. He was a beloved son, brother, and father. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Michael. Gary is survived by his son, Townes Henderson Salinas; parents, Teddy and Betty Salinas; brothers, Teddy and wife Pat Salinas and Mark and wife Vianey Salinas; aunt, Velma Flores; uncle, Rufus Salinas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at American Heritage Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at American Heritage Funeral Home. The Graveside Rite of Committal will be at 12:00 p.m., Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas.
