Garry Frank Howe, born December 19th 1951 in El Paso, Texas passed away June 20th, 2019 at the age of 67 in his home in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Mason Howe. He is also survived by his children and their families; Ben and Tracy Howe and their children, Mason and Courtney; Bryan and Jana Howe and their children, Noble and Graham. Garry is also survived by his brother Jeffrey Howe. Garry was the son of the late Frank and Mary Alice Howe.
Garry was an avid reader of periodicals and loved football following Texas Tech and the Dallas Cowboys. He earned his undergraduate degree from UT El Paso in business administration. He became a CPA and later attended law school at Texas Tech University where he was published multiple times in the Texas Tech Law Review. He later earned his Masters degree in Computer Science from New York University. Garry lived and worked in Houston, Texas undertaking contract negotiations in the oil and gas industry. Garry enjoyed spending his time watching his grandchildren grow and getting together with friends and family. Whether spending time in the mountains of Ruidoso, NM or on the water at Lake Livingston, Garry’s greatest joy and favorite pastime was spending time with his family.
In lieu of flowers, Garry’s family asks that memorial contributions of any amount be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.org) for Type 1 diabetes.
Garry’s final resting place will be in Coldspring, Texas close to his beloved lake house where all of his family can visit him and give him the latest political news and football scores.
