Gail Sophia Bartuska, 83 of Houston, Texas was born July 25, 1936 in Fargo, North Dakota to George and Vernette (Farnam) Jorgenson. She passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time. She graduated from Bremerton High School in 1954 and was a stay at home mom.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Bartuska; 3 children, Leslie Hume and husband, Steve; John (Jack) Bartuska and Thomas Bartuska; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Hume and wife, Ashley; Brett Hume and wife, Alyssa; Kaitlin Bartuska and fiancé Joey Gibbs, along with Jake Hume and Christopher Bartuska and great-grandchild, Dorian Hume, 2 brothers, George Jorgenson and Ronald Jorgenson and wife, Marilyn and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; George and Vernette Jorgenson; brother, Terry Jorgenson and sister, Beverly Allen.
A memorial gathering will be Friday, March 6, 2020 at 1:00pm at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
