Frank was born to Philip and Mary Ann Provenzano, July 8, 1936 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School, where he was class President in 1954. He married Clara Uguccioni in 1964 and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised three children.
Frank worked as a Mailman for the US Post Office for over 32 years. He enjoyed going to ballgames, cooking Bar b Que, watching TV (He loved the History Channel) and spending time with the family and especially making people laugh. He was also actively involved in the Catholic Church and could regularly be found working Bingo at Notre Dame, the VFW or the American Legion.
He is survived by: his oldest daughter, Lynette Anderson and her husband, Randy; his son, Phillip Provenzano and wife, Isabel; and youngest daughter, Carla Shannon and husband, Andrew. Along with granddaughters, Hannah, Abigail, and Monica and great-grandsons, Camden, Mason, and David. He also leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Rosemary Witovec and Carolyn Lorance along with nieces and nephews, Mark Provenzano, Karen Waltmon, Mary Theresa Marek, Jerry Portele, Carol Neslony, Bobby Lorance and Lisa Holmes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Mary Ann; his beloved wife, Clara; his brother, Mathew; his sister, Sara; and niece, Mary Ann Portele.
A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A rosary is scheduled for January 19, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Forest Park Lawndale. A reception will follow.
