Frank was a very proud veteran of WWII but never thought of himself as a hero. He always believed the true heroes were those that never returned to their families.
Frank met the love of his life Beatrice in Houston and married on December 9, 1961. He was a devout catholic who loved his family and put his children at the forefront of all decisions. Frank and Beatrice were married for 58 years and now have been reunited together again.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Beatrice Carker; brother Joe Carker.
Frank is survived by his children Jack Gay & wife Ruth, Greg Carker & wife Malissa, Gary Carker & wife Gloria, and Frank Carker. Multiple Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and lifelong friends.
A visitation for Frank will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Cory Carker, Chad Carker, Bryce Collins, Brendon Carker, Craig Bokemeyer, Garrett Vacek, Ryan Bennetsen, and Michael Romano.
