Festus Aitekhere Edokpa was born to Mr. and Mrs Albert Edokpa of Idunwele Ewu. He was the fifth child out of nine children.
Festus attended Government Primary School (Now Eguare Primary School) Irrua in Esan Central L.G Area of Edo State. After his primary school education, he proceeded to attend his Secondary school education at Benin Technical College, Benin City. After obtaining his Secondary School Certificate, he moved to the USA in 1978, where he continued his tertiary education at TSU and obtained a degree in mathematics.
Festus also worked in a family owned and operated Pharmacy as the company manager. He later went to work at Harris County Juvenile Probation Department as an administrator/Manager where he finally retired in 2019.
He was hard working, compassionate towards everyone, and deserved the success and rich life that he enjoyed. He taught us all many things but I think most importantly he gave us the ability to know that we are loved and if you really put your mind to something, anything is possible.
