The daughter of Arlo and Claudia Farmer, Arline grew up in Missouri, Texas, Colorado and New Mexico following their father’s work life with the Civilian Conservation Corp. The family settled in Lubbock where Arline graduated from Lubbock High School. Out of High School she worked as a PBx Operator and worked while obtaining her Private Pilot’s License – a continuation of her Father’s adventurous spirit. While working at Texas Tech University she met her future husband and life partner Darrell D (Buck) Rogers. They married in Clovis, NM, Buck graduated from Texas Tech and then joined the Air Force. They lived an Air Force life for the first few years of their marriage which took them to several locations including Japan. After the Air Force, Buck’s next career was to join the Petroleum Industry which took them to several cities including Midland, Corpus Christi, Houston, Lafayette, La., and then finally back to Houston where they settled and finally retired. In support of Buck’s career and while raising their family Arline’s working career spanned the legal and insurance industries where she worked to become a Specialty Commercial Underwriter for the Oil Industry for 25 years. Arline and Buck have three living children, Daughter Barbara Wilson of Houston, son Mark Rogers of Alvord and daughter Keri Rosen of Houston. Arline had 8 Grand Children and 10 Great Grand Children.
Arline was preceded in Death by her husband, Darrell D Rogers; son Michael Jerome Rogers; granddaughter Kristen Lea Wilson and grandson Avery Dawson Rosen.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Sheila Louise Byers of Marrero, LA.; Daughter Frances Barbra Wilson of Houston, TX; Son Mark D Rogers and his wife Becky of Alvord, TX; Daughter Keri Dawne Rosen and husband Steve of Houston, TX; Grand Daughter Kimberly Fawn Wilson of Houston; Grand Daughter Kelly Michelle Hancock of Tomball; Grandson Travis Michael Rogers of Austin; Grand Daughter Karen Renee Gullicksrud of Eau Claire, WI; Grand Daughter Karla Nicole Kelly of Fort Worth; Grandson Adam Ryan Rosen of Houston; Grandson Tyler Martin Rosen of Houston; Grand Daughter Jessica Grace Rosen of Houston; Great Grandson Kory Thomas Bradley; Great Grand Daughter Sydni Lea Bradley; Great Grand Daughter Kelsey Lynn Bradley; Great Grandson Patrick Allan Lane; Great Grandson Brandon Russell Edwards; Great Grand Daughter Emily Elizabeth Edwards; Great Grandson Marty Eric Gullicksrud; Great Grand Daughter Greta Mae Gullicksrud; Great Grandson Parker Stone Kelly; Great Grandson Jude Brandon David Edwards
