The Lord called Evelyn Beadle Roberts home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Saint David's Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. Evelyn was 86 and joins her husband Eugene E. ("Rocky") Roberts. She is survived by her sister, Minnie Belle Morgan. Evelyn was also a sister of the late Ernest Beadle, Doris Beadle Georgia, and Ruth Beadle Gash.
Evelyn was a loving mother leaving behind a son, Rock Roberts, and daughter Cathy Jo Roberts West. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Katie and Rebekah Roberts, Walter Wardlaw (Joe) and wife Leera, Austin Wardlaw (Mynum), Rachael Wardlaw (Coo), and Emily West (Shelly).
Friends are invited to join the family at a Celebration of Life service at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church (MDUMC) at 2:00 pm Saturday March 2nd. MDUMC is located at 12955 Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77079. A private burial ceremony will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery Saturday morning.
