Evans Sarpong, 50, of Houston, Texas passed on Thursday, January 28, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amma Pomma and Mr. Sarpong. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Myiesha Shaw-Sarpong and his daughters, Kennedy Sarpong and Kameron Sarpong; Loving Uncles/Aunts; Jojo & Adwoa Sarpong, John & Antoinette Sarpong and Kwame & Augusta Sarpong; ten sisters and five brothers; along with a host of other family and friends.
Evans was always giving himself to help others selflessly. He wholeheartedly loved his two daughters, with whom he did nightly bible study with. He enjoyed his Ashanti culture from where he originated in Kumasi, Ghana. He devoted his life to the Lord on-air with his favorite Christian family radio station, Asomdwee Radio, where he went online to do daily prayer meetings. To his two daughters, he was an amazing father who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
