She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Rosa Castillo, sister Gregoria Rodriguez, brothers Juan Castillo, Arnoldo Castillo and son Jose Lopez, Jr. She is survived by her son Fernando Soto, and daughters, Griselda Soto Montemayor, Rosa Angelina Quinones and Eva Contreras, 10 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren

Mother was a strong, loving, independent, beautiful woman. We will cherish the memories and will always carry her in our hearts.

The family would like to thank Baywood Crossing Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park located at 2454 S. Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston TX 77077 on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. During visitation a Celebration of Life service will commence at 4:30 pm. Interment will take place at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077 on Friday September 29, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. .
